Luis Almagro Lemes, general secretary of the Organization of American States (OAS) will participate in the second edition of the Peace Integration Summit – CUMIPAZ Paraguay 2016.
This international reunion gathers personalities and authorities from the political, parliamentary, diplomatic, judicial, academic and business sector from America, Europe and Africa, to create proposals and global actions focused on the construction of integral peace of the nations and among the nations.
The Summit contemplates four sessions with topics classified in: justice for peace, public policies and parliamentary initiatives, social responsibility, integral education, environmental legislation and a sustainable development.
Almargo will participate in the Diplomatic, Parliamentary and Political Session, with the topic “Social reach of multilateral organization of regional and continental integration for the peace and integral happiness of the human beings.” (See: general program of CUMIPAZ 2016)
Each one of the contributions, analysis and proposals presented in the Summit will be compiled in a document of the session to create a consensual declaration that will later be socialized and presented before regional, national and supranational organizations.
CUMIPAZ has the objective of generating an international space of dialogue and integration to study, debate and formulate initiatives, projects and viable actions, aimed at strengthening the integral peace and happiness of the human being, of the nations and among the nations, as well as the defense of human rights, in harmony with Mother Earth.
CUMIPAZ 2016 will be held through October 4th to the 8th, at the Honorable National Congress, event organized by the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP), a non-governmental, non-profit organization, with no religious order or state subsidies, paid for by their volunteers.
